Why Marie Madeleine?

In these uncertain times, it's crucial to be spiritually equipped to stand firm in the truth of Christ. After returning home from a pilgrimage to Medjugorje (a village known as a popular site of Catholic pilgrimage) in 2024, Mother Mary gave me the courage and grace to open this online Rosary House — a calling I had carried within me and knew one day I would pursue. I named my store "Marie-Madeleine" the French spelling for Mary Magdalene. She is an inspiration to us all, having been restored from darkness to light. She witnessed Jesus’ mercy, love, teachings, and His healing power and was last at His cross and first at His tomb to witness the Risen Christ.

I pray for Marie Madeleine to bring ALL GLORY TO GOD. Everyone's journey of faith looks different, but when you find the calling to continual conversion and holiness of life, Marie Madeleine is a place where you can find tools to deepen your faith and grow closer to God.

My favorite part about my Catholic faith…

One of my favorite parts about my Catholic faith is receiving Holy Communion during mass. Mass is when heaven comes to earth. Who would say “no” to receiving Jesus? Maybe you think mass is boring but when you truly understand what is happening, every mass is a beautiful experience. After receiving the Eucharist, the presence of Jesus is within you for 15 minutes, and when you truly find belief in this, so much peace is felt in your soul. My second favorite part of my Catholic faith is confession. Shocker, right? When you truly give confession a chance, you will find so much healing in your heart. This is a key point in growing closer to Jesus. Think of it as a little meeting with Him – a time to take care of your soul. God’s mercy is real.
